Adnan Rashid Exposed. Blatant Deception of Quran P Z Meyers

Last year, two Muslim apologists (Hamza and Adnan) ganged up on embryologist P Z Meyers in a stunt to catch him on camera and catch him off guard. The attempt was to prove the Quran contained a scientific description of embryology far to advanced for its time.

Adnan in a recent debate with Jay Smith, has deceptively used the comments of P Z Meyers to exploit this embryologist views. P Z Meyers clearly pointed out the passage was to ambiguous so it was hardly a scientific miracle. Adnan took the word "vague" used by Meyers and distorts it to mean "appropriate". Hence he is putting words in the mouth of P Z Meyers and has him actually saying something like this:
"These verses in the Quran are irrefutable because the language is so appropriate".
Watch how this deceiver attempts to trick his audience:

This should blow all his credibility for all time.

  1. Actually, process embryology is also in the hadith.

This articles answer the doubts to the hadith which states that and how the noble hadith conforms to the scientific facts: "If a drop of semen spent in the womb forty two nights, Allah (the Almighty) sends an angel to it who depicts it and creates its ears, eyes, skin, flesh and bones." (Narrated by Muslim).

    Please read it here:

    Thank you!

  2. Isha, Your article says: "Science is really developing and revealing new facts and if we examine the recent researches in embryology and study the phase that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) had mentioned, when the embryo is 42 days old, what do we find? "

You need to read the hadith more carefully: "If a drop OF SEMEN SPENT in the womb FORTY TWO NIGHTS"

Fact 1: One of the most basic “facts of life” is that it only takes one sperm and one egg to create a new life. Your hadith states that it is SPERM and ANGELS that create life. False.

Fact 2: Of the many millions of sperm released each time a man ejaculates inside a woman, far fewer live long enough to make an attempt at fertilization. After unprotected intercourse, sperm can sustain its reproductive viability for SEVERAL days – IF IT makes it up as far as the cervix.

If the sperm gets no further than the vaginal canal, it will survive for just a FEW HOURS, due to exposure to acidic vaginal secretions.

Hence your prophets claim that semen can survive 42 days is scientifically impossible.

Fact 3: Ears, eyes, skin, flesh and bone are not ADDED to Semen. You need to get at stage one first. A zygote, the conjoining of sperm and egg.

Fact 4: The order provided by the hadith is wrong. It conflicts with modern embryology and Quranic embryology, showing Mohammed was confused and inconsistent, and scientifically erroneous.

But thanks for exposing another scientific error made by your Prophet. Please provide us with more.

  3. Oh and Isha. I looked up your little EMBRYO photo of 44 days old photoshots. And you forgot to paste that which falsifies your claim:

    "About Carnegie Stage 18

Most embryos at stage 18 are approximately 44 postovulatory DAYS OLD and measure 13-17 mm in length. Distinguishing criteria for this stage include cervical and lumbar flexures, distinct notching in the hand plate, the first appearance of the elbow, EYELID FOLDS "MAY" APPEAR in more ADVANCED specimens, and auricular hillocks BEGIN TO FORM distinct parts of the EXTERNAL EAR."

What was it your hadith said? "who DEPICTS IT *AND* CREATES ITS EARS, EYES, skin, flesh and bones."

Yet according to the university you borrowed your photos from the external ear and eyelid are merely beginning to form outwardly.

But not only that, not are they not yet depicted, they are NOT CREATED either! Falsifying the other claim that the EARS, and EYES are fully created by 42 days! Not even close!

Isha you truly are a blessing giving us scientific evidence that Islam is false.

  4. Ha, this guy always makes me smile! I and a few others personally forced a lot of retractions and corrections in the embryology paper IERA published (though even the latest version has many mistakes and telling omissions). Their repeated incompetence and misuse of sources was quite remarkable.

Re the 42 days and similar hadith, I did some research and discovered pretty much all that stuff in the Jewish Talmud and Galen. You might find interesting my article about influence from the Talmud and Galen on the Qur'an and hadith.

As for bones clothing flesh in 23:14, another verse sheds some light on what could be meant there. See verse 2:259 which uses the same Arabic words for bones, clothe and flesh to describe the bare bones of a dead donkey (or person) being clothed with flesh when he is raised from the dead. Other verses such as 22:5 use embryology as an analogy for resurrection to convince doubters that Allah can accomplish such a feat.
