Oh, you know stuff about Mithras too? Well, whatever pagan god you've never heard of is the one that the life of Jesus is stolen from.
Honestly I get this a lot in Paltalk, so I have looked in to this stuff and the copycat claim is just silly. For the life of me I cannot figure out why people would fall for any of this unless they have not read the original sources about these other Gods. Honestly some of them crack me up it is like reading a real cheesy scifi book. I hope to have my blog up soon dedicated to this topic alone and the name of the blog will be simple "Who Copied Who?"

This "divine truth" which "a whole people venerate" of which "not a single letter of it is missing" and today "is flourishing to such a degree as cannot be found in its history" is illustrated by the additional verbatim quotations which follow:
SANHEDRIN, 55b: "A maiden three years and a day may be acquired in marriage by coition, and if her deceased husband's brother cohabits with her, she becomes his. The penalty of adultery may be incurred through her; (if a niddah) she defiles him who has connection with her, so that he in turn defiles that upon which he lies, as a garment which has lain upon (a person afflicted with gonorrhea)."

Of the "sacred" Talmudic teachings of the "Sages," preserved since 500 A.D. and taught more widely today than ever before in Talmud-Torah schools in the U.S.A., perhaps nothing better illustrates "fools" with "reprobate minds" than the teaching in the Talmud book of Yebamoth that spittle on the top of the bed curtain proves that a wife has been guilty of adultery, as only lying down face upwards could she have spit up on it. Spitting several feet straight up! The Talmud states: "When a peddler leaves a house and the woman within is fastening her sinnar [breech-cloth] … . If spittle is found on the upper part of the curtained bed she must, said Rabbi, go."
Footnote: "Even if there were no witnesses that misconduct took place."

People of every religion are influenced by their scriptures. Some are influenced more deeply than others.
The principal scriptures of Jewish people are Tanakh and Talmud. Tanakh, popularly known to us as ‘Old Testament’, was the principal scripture of earlier Judaism. It has three parts, namely Torah, Nevi’im, and Kethuvim.
Talmud consists of Mishnah (orally transmitted laws and traditions) and Gemara (rabbinical commentaries). Talmud is considered to be the holiest book of modern Judaism. Its authority in modern Judaism takes precedence over the Torah.
Importance of Talmud:
One can understand its importance of Talmud from the following:
•"My son, be more careful in the observance of the words of the Scribes than in the words of the Torah" (Talmud,- Erubin 21b).
•"The decisions of the Talmud are words of the living God. Jehovah himself asks the opinions of earthly rabbis when there are difficult affairs in heaven." –

Most of us do not know much about the Talmud. It is not easily available and the followers are strongly discouraged to reveal its contents to others.

Rabbinic laws intended for access by Judaic persons only, teach that goyim (gentiles) are malevolent. For this reason, the goyim are grouped together with those categories of criminals and transgressors who cannot act as a witness in a court (Shulhan Arukh: Hoshen Mishpat 34).
When the opportunity to save a Judaic human life (pikuah nefesh) conflicts with the observance of the Sabbath, saving the Judaic life takes precedence. However, rabbinic legal authorities distinguish between the obligation to save a Judaic life on the Sabbath and the life of a goy. Israel Meir Kagan (1838–1933), the halachic authority known as the Chofetz Chaim (a.ka. the Hafetz Hayyim), condemned the behavior of any Judaic physician who did not discriminate between Jews and non-Jews. Concerning Judaic physicians, Rabbi Kagan wrote, “...to treat a non-Jew...there is no authority for them to do so” (Mishneh Berurah: O.H. 330). [The authority of Rabbi Kagan's Mishnah Berurah, was assessed by Simcha Fishbane in The Encyclopedia of Judaism, which states, "His greatest work, which remains the strongest influence on Orthodox practice today and whose authority is considered final, is Mishnah Berurah (1884-1907), in six volumes”].
As Yossi Gurvitz reveals in the preceding videotaped testimony, exceptions to these bigoted rabbinic laws are permitted where Judaics are in subjection to the goyim and where news of Judaism's discrimination toward, and second class status of, the goyim, would cause an uprising of "potential animosity" (mishum eivah) toward Judaics.
Therefore, to avoid a rebellion by the goyim, devious exceptions to the rabbinic law are made in public for the sake of pacifying (mipnei darkhei shalom) gullible goyim. It is to these cosmetic exceptions, formulated for dissemination to inquisitive goyim who inquire about the nature of Judaism, that reference is made when Judaism attempts to defend itself from documented charges by objective scholars, regarding racism and bigotry toward non-Judaics in the religion of Judaism’s recondite rabbinic texts.
Where Judaic supremacy reigns supreme however (“Where ‘ Israel’ is mighty”), such as in the Israeli state, no such diplomatic niceties need be observed, and the full force of Talmudic/rabbinic halacha, with its institutionalized contempt for, and discrimination toward non-Judaics, can be fully exerted.
