Support For Terror And Sharia Law Statistics

In 2007 this interview took place:

Unfortunately according to the latest statistics in 2011, not much has changed. 


But first lets focus on May 22, 2007.


According to "Muslim Americans: Middle Class and Mostly Mainstream" a study from the Pew Research Center:

The Pew study projects approximately 1.5 million adult Muslim Americans, 18 years of age and older. The total Muslim American population is estimated at 2.35 million, based on data from this survey and available Census Bureau data on immigrants' nativity and nationality. It is important to note that both of these estimates are approximations.

According to one website:

"A 2007 Pew Poll on American Muslims, for instance, revealed that 75,000 American Muslims supported al-Qaeda and 120,000 American Muslims believed that bombings against civilians in the defense of Islam are justified."

Interesting.




But according to this interview above which mentions the same study, undisputed by Mr Cooper 30% of Muslims support Al Qaeda and 1.5 Muslims were polled. That makes at least over 450,000 American Muslims who support Al Qaeda. Again 25% of American Muslims support homicide bombing, that means 375,000 alot more than alleged.

Further more:

• 39% of American Muslims don't view rising Islamic Extremism as a problem. (despite in numerous attacks, plots and plans)
• 60% of American Muslims don't believe Arab Muslims carried out 9/11  

That's 1.5 million adult Muslims, that's a significant large minority of Muslims supporting terrorism, conspiracy theories, to be clear: hundreds and thousands.


If you thought those statistics were alarming, the group pointing out "overwhelming majority of Muslims are peaceful, good members of the community" are actually a cover group for Muslim Brotherhood.

Jan. 27, 2011 update 





A study of Muslim populations worldwide by the Pew Research Center's Forum on Religion & Public Life, "The Future of the Global Muslim Population: Projections for 2010-2030:

"In the United States, for example, the population projections show the number of Muslims more than doubling over the next two decades, rising from 2.6 million in 2010 to 6.2 million in 2030, in large part because of immigration and higher-than-average fertility among Muslims... Although several European countries will have substantially higher percentages of Muslims, the United States is projected to have a larger number of Muslims by 2030 than any European country other than Russia and France."

According to this update: 

"Although many U.S. Muslims express concern about the possibility of rising extremism in the U.S., far fewer say there is currently much support for extremism within the Muslim American community. Most (64%) say there is not too much support (30%) or no support at all (34%) for extremism among Muslim Americans. About one-in-five (21%) see either a great deal (6%) or a fair amount (15%) of support for extremism in the Muslim American community."

21% of 2.6 Million = 546,000 Muslims at least observe a "fair amount" of support for terrorism in their community. What does that say about the 34% who say it doesn't exist at all, very suspect? Then we have 64% who say "not too much support" that makes me feel a whole lot safer, NOT!



Float along to the next page (pg 69) in the research and it says:

"Native-born Muslims, particularly African Americans, are more likely than those not born in the United States to say there is at least a fair amount of support for extremism in the Muslim American community. Among Muslims born in this country, 32% see at least a fair amount of support for extremism, while 25% say there is no support. Among Muslims born outside the U.S., just 15% say there is a great deal or fair amount of support for extremism, while 40% say there is no support at all."

Obama and Hillary provide very different statistics. They estimate any where between 5-7 Million American Muslims. Lets take the low number of 5 Million. 21% of 5 Million Muslims = 1,050,000. That means about 1 Million American Muslims have at least observed "a fair amount of support for terrorism in their community". Obviously, this is very serious.

Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, says: 

"We Muslims need to redouble our outreach efforts because of growing challenges from the vocal minority who see us as suspect."

Well burning all the evidence convicting CAIR, like Uthman burn't the Quran, would certainly create "suspicion" Mr Cooper. But hey how about all the FBI and Senators who know about your connections to terrorism? Unfortunately recently CAIR has aided in blocking an amendment to the constitution prohibiting Sharia Law. The American government know about CAIR, didn't bother to even indict them and then allow this?


Muslims represent about 1% of the American population, yet constitute more than 80% of terror convictions. More than 80 percent of all convictions tied to international terrorist groups and homegrown terrorism since 9/11 involve defendants driven by a radical Islamist agenda, a review of Department of Justice statistics shows.Though Muslims represent about 1 percent of the American population, they constitute defendants in 186 of the 228 cases DOJ lists.



Another poll from Pew says:

"In December 2010 Pew Research Center published the results of a new survey of six Muslim countries that shed light on the number of Muslims in the world who support al-Qaeda. Six of those surveyed in Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey)

The report reveals that the majority of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world do not support al Qaeda and do not believe that suicide bombing ever justified in the defense of Islam

While it is good news that the majority of the world's Muslim Population repudiates AL-Qaeda, and vice versa, we in the West cannot take too much comfort. Pew also provides each polled country's percentages of support for AL-Qaeda: 34 percent of Jordanians, 49 percent of Nigerian Muslims, 3 per cent of Lebanese, 20 percent of Egyptians, 23 percent of Indonesians, 18 percent on Pakistanis, and 3 percent of Turks. In real numbers, the total is staggering. A whopping 129, 942,000 Muslims support AL-Qaeda and that from just the six countries Pew's pollsters visited."

Interesting, but I wonder if they should have also included the questions: "Do you want to live under the Sharia Law?", "Do you think enforcing Sharia Law via terrorism and/or violence is acceptable?" what kind of results they would have gotten?



Wherever Muslims Go, There the Sharia Demand Follows



When Mosques in Dearborn, Michigan were polled and asked if they support Sharia Law in Muslim Lands the answer was an over whelming 81% support Sharia Law. As Spencer himself says:

"I don't see 81% supporting Sharia as moderate. Sharia law contains numerous provisions that deny tenets of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights."

What about Muslim immigrants in Canada? How do they view Sharia Law?

"The survey, which was released Tuesday, found 62% wanted some form of Shariah law in Canada"

"The report also states support for extremism is just as high among Muslims born in Canada, or other Western countries, as it is among those hailing from oppressive dictatorships."

"only a small minority of Muslim newcomers to Canada reject Hamas, Hezbollah, or the Iranian regime."

Who else supports Sharia Law?

"Here is a pdf of the full report. See especially pages 27 through 30: "Islamist Groups and Shari'a." On page 27, the report says: "The Islamist goal of giving Shari'a a larger role in Islamic society is viewed positively." 

And on page 29: "In Egypt 81 percent said they agreed with the al Qaeda goal of "requir[ing] a strict application of Shari'a law in every Islamic country" (65% strongly); only 12 percent disagreed. Pakistanis were similar with 76 percent agreeing with this goal (52% strongly); 5 percent disagreed. Indonesians, however, agreed by only a narrow plurality: 49 percent supported the goal (just 14% strongly), while 42 percent disagreed. In Morocco in late 2006, 76 percent agreed.

Views of al Qaeda are complex. Majorities agree with nearly all of al Qaeda's goals to change U.S. behavior in the Muslim world, to promote Islamist governance, and to preserve and affirm Islamic identity. However only minorities say they approve of al Qaeda's attacks on Americans."

In 2006 Four out of 10 British Muslims want sharia law introduced into parts of the country, a survey revealed 

And even in the most recent polls, How about Indonesia?

"In the last 12 months alone, there has been a palpable hardening in the attitude of Indonesians against sharia law. Form April 2009 to March 2010, the number of people who said “Islamic sharia law should be introduced in my area” declined from 43 to 36 percent of the population. That’s one in three people, not what an elected mayor could call a majority...

Focusing on the runaway mayors of Tangerang and Bekasi, the picture is similar. Undoubtedly, they are imposing the minority will on the majority. Like the rest of the nation, that includes the majority of Muslims in their jurisdictions.

Only 38 percent of Muslims in Tangerang think “Islamic sharia law should be implemented in my area.”In the past, its mayor had neither the authority nor mandate to impose his beliefs on the majority. In Bekasi, only 42 percent of the population and 42 percent of Muslims agree. Who is the mayor of Bekasi aiming to please, in the future? The majority of voters everywhere, not just in Bekasi, would like the President to throw the book at him. The constitutional book, that is. Everybody who loves Indonesia must be wondering what’s stopping him."

The truth is wherever you go, Where ever Muslims migrate or live A SUPER LARGE MINORITY want to see SHARIA LAW.

Interestingly enough, all of Europe faces this dilemma.

England not only has large minority supporting Sharia Law, it actually has unofficial Sharia Courts already! Germany has these in every city and yes German Muslims want Sharia and are getting it too!. And in Austria the laws already prohibit expressing freely against Prophet Mohammed even at a financial cost. China and Hong Kong also have the problems with a minority wanting Islamic Law.

Belgium is already going the same way as England, Germany and France, sigh.  How they do it? 

In The Netherlands the Muslim population is 945,000 or 5.8%(December, 2005). A study found 40 percent of the Moroccan youth in the Netherlands reject western values and democracy.

The majority are opposed to freedom of speech for offensive statements, particularly criticism of Islam.




Fifty-nine percent of Palestinians believe that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad should continue their armed struggle against Israel even if Israel leaves all of the West Bank and Gaza,
