Quick note: I am not convinced of Mohammed thying/sodomizing Aisha assertion

This video is being promulgated around by several anti-Islam blogs and sites along with some Khomeini's quotes and some "Saudi Panel" Fatwa, the sites all seem to link to each other as a source.

I believe Yahya Snow supplies enough evidence, none of these sources are reliable. Until more information and authentic sources can be shown, as a matter of intellectual honesty I suggest abandoning this as an argument not to use against Islam. I have added this argument in this section, and there are plenty more to be added.

A note to infidels: Is it necessary to believe every negative report relating Mohammed in a bad light, why not only appeal to the strongest facts available?

Dr. Michael Brown vs. Dr. James White on Predestination, Election, and the Will of God

How jonnykzj became a Calvinist?

A video from last year where I summarize and explain the difference between Jonny (who I was arguing should become a Calvinist if he accepts the Bible, who inevitably did!) and Sambs ( the woman I mention in the video who rejects Calvinism and emphasizes defending the love/perfect/good God), I then explain how the Calvinist God is more closer to the Ancient Near East conception of God, rather than the Arminian God who happens to be the God most Christians believe in today (the wholly pure and and good, the positive and awesome God who has no moral dubious intention).

What do/did Hitchens(RIP), Thunderf00t, TheAmazingAtheist, George Carlin (RIP) and Billy Connolly all have in common? They equate all religions with the same amount of evil and certainly are not Anti-Islam enough

Summary: New Atheists vs Islamphobia Movement

David Wood who owns AnsweringMuslims.com posted: "Epic Showdown: The Islamophobia Industry vs. the New Atheists"

Here are my thoughts and comments on the issue:

Hi I've followed this topic on my blog for a while now, here are some thoughts.

News update: before we begin, the Taliban are murdering school children again.

To set the record straight: this ignoramus who appeals to scholarship didn't do his own "research".

Hitchens is not in the camp of Harris, Dawkins and Maher.

Hitchens believed all religions were equally evil (e.g. see his debate with Tarik Ramadan) he makes it very clear, he does not view Islam as worse.

Turns out Mr Ramadan, might not turn out to be as "moderate" as we thought: see here

This does not mean however that Hitchens was like your ordinary leftist who ignored, dodged and made excuses for the Muslims and Islam, he clearly said Islam is a huge problem:

http://www.answeringabraham.com/2012/02/hitchens-iran-vs-israel.html

However, if you watch for example the most updated edition of the four horsemen (hosted in Australia) Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris & Ayaan Hirsi Ali all seem to specifically think Islam is worse. They seem to defend Western Values strongly, they certainly aren't self hating like the leftist wing.

http://www.answeringabraham.com/2012/03/politically-correct-atheists-growing.html

Ayaan, Richard and Sam seem to be clear, while Dennett seems more tame, but does seem to atleast in some small way acknowledge the problem.

Yet again compared to Richard Dawkins.... Sam Harris and Bill Maher like Pat Condell are absolutely out spoken in their distinction between "Islam" being the worse vs the rest of more moderately bad religions:

http://www.answeringabraham.com/2012/04/reza-aslan-master-schemer-and-snake.html (I expose Reza Aslan's defense of terrorism due to poverty and defensive revenge)

This is a debate where leftist Chris Hedges (who is particularly annoying to listen to), represents the leftist positions well enough) debates Sam Harris on this issue:

http://www.answeringabraham.com/2012/04/debate-chris-hedges-vs-sam-harris.html

I probably couldn't watch it again, it's hard listening to leftist dribble.

Therefore in the New Atheist movement, you have ex-Muslims, like Salman Rushdi, Ibn Warraq,  Ayaan Hirsi Ali etc who are influencing people like Pat Condell, Bill Maher and Sam Harris, who are in turn influencing Dawkins who in turn is influencing Dennett. Dawkins and Dennett seem to be the least enthusiastic about it, but atleast acknowledge the issue, Dawkins more so than Dennett.

So there is a hierarchy of just how "anti-Islam" many of the New Atheists are but there are definitely those who are "out spoken", who genuinely seem to influence the less outspoken ones with sound reasoning and argument. It certainly is a slow process, but a process that maybe working, it's taking an amount of time, but once some famous YouTube atheists like Thunderfoot or TheAmazingAtheist catch on, you will have a huge Atheist Personality telling the truth about this issue. Imagine if e.g. someone like George Carlin had of been anti-Islam and the effect this might have? Or instead of Billy Connolly hating all religion in general, he would point out the truth that we cannot equate every religion as equally violent in 2013.

Lastly then there is me. One of the arguments on my blog is that Islam is the worst religion in terms of violence, terrorism, human rights, subjugation and warfare, I am an agnostic/atheist. I have made this point in various posts scattered across my blog including:

On the FAQ here I say:
"Do you view Islam as worse than other religions?"

Only in the sense that Islam has a socio-political element. Theologically it is not worse or superior, none of the claims can be justified. Politically and in terms of a modern movement Islam is currently more dangerous than any other religion constantly demonstrating that it views itself as the most supreme world religion, that it has a special right not to be offended, and that Muslim citizens should have separate Laws given to them by Sharia Councils, never integrating, always demanding and simply it's ultimate desire is to transform the entire Middle East, Arab Spring, Africa, Europe and the West into the Islamic Caliphate.

Islam is not merely a religion but a movement, similar to how Judaism was considered before it became the religion of the "book", it was the history of a people, a nation and the kingdom of God and his Messiah. You could not separate nation and state and religion, that was a total rule of daily life. Now Islam has become this political, universal religion.(source)

There is more scattered on the blog.

As for who is going to win this contest between these New Atheists and the Islamophobia Industry?

For the first time yesterday, I saw an Atheist use the word "Islamophobe" and I was left standing there with my mouth open, stunned and shocked, but hey it does exist after all, millions of Atheists have bought into this frame, Atheism is obviously not a single creed, ideology or manifesto. Atheists are unique and critical, skeptical thinkers with their own individuality. Sam Harris even thinks we should shift away from the term Atheist (see links above).

I don't think we can predict how many Atheists hate religion equally vs how many of them know Islam is worse, all we can do is hope some of them start reasoning like Pat Condell. I mean I have to admit the ACLU objects to some pretty stupid episodes, like a Christmas service and tree in a school building at Christmas time etc. Who cares, who gives a rat except these "leftist" nutjobs who want to exaggerate and distort the purpose of the constitution.

Obama says don't jump to conclussions: Re Boston Terror Attack

While Obama himself has not referred to this event as a terror plot or terrorism, probably because of his bizarre redefinition process. The rest of us know terrorism when we see it. In fact Obama has a history of redefining terrorism and extremism.

Now why might one leap to conclussions Mr. Obama?

Well when you study the list of attempted terror plots foiled by the U.S.A. you will find about 97%-99% of attempted terror attacks have one single fact in common. They are Muslims who are implenting AlQueda like objectives.

Truth About The Quran: The Origins of the Quran by Robert Spencer

You know when I think about it Robert Spencer is a machine. He is a monster. Slice and dice the Quran with a technical precise exegete like Spencer and you are left with nothing but facts. Here is merely a sample of such a genius:

Son of Pastor Rick Warren commits suicide

I was particularly sad when I read this. Matthew is about my age and suffered from the same mental illnesses I have. I have thought about suicide alot, and attempted twice in March, it is a constant battle living with a dark dread and torment, and Matthew finally caved in to the pain despite his faith in Jesus, how sad:
(CNN) –After a lifelong battle with mental illness, the youngest son of Pastor Rick Warren has committed suicide, his family said.

Matthew Warren, 27, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on Friday, said Deputy Daniel Aikin, with the Orange County Coroner's Office.
The family shared news of his death in an e-mail to church staff.
Rick Warren and his wife founded Saddleback Valley Community Church, a megachurch in Southern California.

"No words can express the anguished grief we feel right now," the pastor wrote in the note, a copy of which was sent to CNN.

"You who watched Matthew grow up knew he was an incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate man. He had a brilliant intellect and a gift for sensing who was most in pain or most uncomfortable in a room. He'd then make a bee-line to that person to engage and encourage them.
"But only those closest knew that he struggled from birth with mental illness, dark holes of depression, and even suicidal thoughts. In spite of America's best doctors, meds, counselors, and prayers for healing, the torture of mental illness never subsided."

According to Aikin, Matthew Warren's body was found at his home in Mission Viejo, California, late Friday afternoon. He put the estimated time of death at around 10 a.m. that day.

The coroner's office is investigating the death. An autopsy will be conducted early next week, Aikin told CNN on Saturday.

According to a spokesman for Rick Warren, Matthew Warren worked in the Saddleback Resources Warehouse, which distributes books and DVDs.

As a pioneer of the megachurch movement, Rick Warren looked to translate traditional evangelical messages to a wider audience.

The pastor gave the invocation at President Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration and penned "The Purpose-Driven Life," a Christian self-help guide that became a mainstream best-seller.

"I'll never forget how, many years ago, after another approach had failed to give relief, Matthew said

'Dad, I know I'm going to heaven. Why can't I just die and end this pain?' but he kept going for another decade," Rick Warren wrote in the e-mail.

In a separate statement, his church asked for prayers and that "God's comfort and peace" be with the Warren family.

A spokesman for Warren provided a copy of a letter Warren sent to members of his staff:
Subject: Needing your prayers
To my dear staff,
Over the past 33 years we’ve been together through every kind of crisis. Kay and I’ve been privileged to hold your hands as you faced a crisis or loss, stand with you at gravesides, and prayed for you when ill. Today, we need your prayer for us.
No words can express the anguished grief we feel right now. Our youngest son, Matthew, age 27, and a lifelong member of Saddleback, died today.
You who watched Matthew grow up knew he was an incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate man. He had a brilliant intellect and a gift for sensing who was most in pain or most uncomfortable in a room. He’d then make a bee-line to that person to engage and encourage them.
But only those closest knew that he struggled from birth with mental illness, dark holes of depression, and even suicidal thoughts. In spite of America’s best doctors, meds, counselors, and prayers for healing, the torture of mental illness never subsided. Today, after a fun evening together with Kay and me, in a momentary wave of despair at his home, he took his life.
Kay and I often marveled at his courage to keep moving in spite of relentless pain. I’ll never forget how, many years ago, after another approach had failed to give relief, Matthew said “ Dad, I know I’m going to heaven. Why can’t I just die and end this pain?” but he kept going for another decade.
Thank you for your love and prayers. We love you back.
Pastor Rick
